How to Use 500px with Facebook on iPhone or iPad

Sign Up With Facebook

   Open 500px. 500px is the app that has a black icon with "500px" written in white letters. You can download 500px for free from the App Store.

   • Tap here to go to 500px in the App Store.

   Tap Sign Up with Facebook. This is the blue button on the title screen. This allows you to create a 500px account using your Facebook account.

   Tap Continue in the pop-up window. This allows 500px to use the Facebook app to create an account for you.

   Tap Log in with the Facebook app. Make sure you are signed in to the Facebook app and tap Log in with the Facebook app. Otherwise, tap Log in with phone or email and type the email and password associated with your Facebook account to create an account.

   Tap Open. This appears in a pop-up asking if you want to open Facebook.

   Tap Continue as [Your name]. The blue button at the bottom of the screen asks if you want to continue as your name. Tap the blue button to continue.

   Tap Continue. This confirms that you want to create a 500px account using the email address listed in the pop-up window.

   Edit your name and username and tap Next. A random username is chosen for you based on your first and last name. You can edit your name and username anyway you wish. Tap Next when you are finished.

   Select two or more photography styles. In order to customize your account, 500px asks you to select two or more styles of photography that interest you the most. Select at least two and then tap Next when you are finished.

    Tap Enable Email Notifications or Skip this step. If you want to receive email notifications from 500px, tap the blue button that says "Enable Email Notifications". If you do not want to receive email notifications, tap Skip this step at the bottom of the page. This takes you to your new feed on 500px.

    Tap I accept. This indicates that you accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for using 500px. Tap Learn More in the text to read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in a web browser.

Share Photos on Facebook

   Open 500px. 500px is the app that has a black icon with "500px" written in white letters.

   Browse for a photo. Tap the home icon in the lower-left corner to see the latest photos in your feed, or tap the magnifying glass icon at the bottom to open the search page to search for a photo you want to post. If you want to share one of your own photos, tap your profile image in the top-left corner of the screen.

   Tap a photo. This displays the photo in full-screen mode.

   Tap the center of the photo. This displays the photo information and options at the bottom of the page.

   Tap Share 

   

    . It's the icon that resembles a box with an upward arrow at the bottom of the screen. This displays the share menu on your iPhone.

   Tap the Facebook icon. It's in the middle row of the Share menu with the other iOS apps you can share the photo with. This opens a pop-up window to create a new Facebook post.

   • If you don't see the Facebook icon, swipe the middle row of app icons to the left and tap ⋯ More, then tap the Facebook switch ON

   Enter a message. You can include a brief message or note about the image on the line that says "Say something about this."

   • You can also tag friends or add a location to the post using the icons at the bottom of the pop-up window.

   Tap Post. It's in the upper-right corner fo the window. This posts the image on Facebook.
